At City HideAway, we’ve designed our facilities to give you everything you need for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Galway City. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or settling in for a longer visit, you’ll enjoy smart, modern features, private space, and a location that keeps you connected to it all.

Relax in Our Communal Lounge

All guests at City HideAway have access to a welcoming communal area located within the building – a great place to unwind, plan your day, or meet fellow travellers. Our communal lounge offers a relaxed space to check your emails, or simply take a breather between adventures.

It’s especially handy for those staying in single or double ensuite rooms, offering a little extra room to stretch out without leaving the building.

Please note the communcal aread are open from 8am – 10pm daily

Shared Living Spaces

Some of our room types – like Twodios – come with access to a shared lounge and kitchenette. These areas are perfect for catching up with your travel companions, planning your day, or relaxing with a coffee after exploring the city.

Please note: Cooking is not permitted in any of our shared or private spaces, but you will have access to light-use kitchen amenities in studios and Twodios.

Breakfast at HYDE

While there are no cooking facilities on-site, breakfast is sorted! Guests who book our B&B rate can enjoy a delicious morning meal at HYDE – just across the road. It’s the perfect way to start your day with a touch of Galway flair. Not booked B&B? No worries – breakfast can also be added during your stay.

Luggage Storage

We’ve partnered with Galway Luggage Storage, located right on Eyre Square, to offer convenient bag storage if you arrive early or leave late. It’s secure, nearby, and hassle-free.

Parking Nearby

Travelling by car? We’ve arranged discounted rates with Hynes Yard Car Park and CityPark.

Public parking with City Park is available at 2 nearby locations, just 2 mins walk from our building. A reservation is not required, get a ticket on entering and park. A 50% discount can be applied by bringing your ticket to reception before you exit the car park, discount rate is €12 for 24 hours.

We’ve also partnered with Hynes Yard Car Park, just an 8 minute walk from our property. To book, please use the link below, discounted rate is €13 for 24 hours.
